working in a group has got to be the hardest thing ever. sometimes you feel like giving up coz things are hard and sometimes it just looks like your priorities are placed differently. there are days when it just feels like you care more than everyone else..like you want this to happen more than evrybody else...like you are the only one who stands to gain from it all.
its at times like that that i start to wonder if that is why numerous bands and groups break up. of course there is the classic 1-member-thinks-he's-better-than-the-rest once in a while but could it be that the major reason ios what i am talking about.
i wont lie..as a group right now for me its a very difficult time...but what i know is the synergy is better than my music alone.
so i will make it clear..the fact that i have solo projects does not mean i aim in anyway to see the disbanding of my group. no..its actually just a matter of music! you see our group has four members raised on totally different music; there's Onai-raised on DMX; nigel-raised on a mixed bag that seems tohave a lot of shaggy; me-raised on a lot of old school rnb/soul and well Clive; he's like the stig...we dont know what music he was raised on..just that he is very talented
so you can imagine the music that we release when you bring such artistes together. the only reason why i am doing solo projects is coz i love soul music..i love rythm and blues..and by myself is almost really the only way i can do pure soul or pure rnb...when i finally raise the cash of course...
i love ludicrous rapertoire!! and i love music
